About This Mod

A 26 km long rally track through the Welsh countryside.


About the track: This special section is modeled on the real-world Rally Nuts Severn Stages 2024 taking place in forests east of Aberystwyth, Wales. This stage - SS6 - Myherin Main, its length is slightly less than 26 kilometers. Stock up on endurance, because this is a time trial :p Coating - 100% gravel/soil.


A couple of important remarks:

"The map does not imply free exploration; there is essentially only one road (special section). If you decide to turn off the main route, you will see only a monotonous texture and many unevennesses that will be merciless to your car.

- The coverage is 12288x12288 meters, but the imported height map has been reduced to 8192x8192 with a resolution of 1.5 m per pixel. This made it difficult to add details to certain areas, and many bumps can be seen.

- Trees are mostly billboards (most of them consist of no more than 2 sides). I got the information that I could add full polygon trees without losing performance, but every time I tried it, I watched a slide show with 20 frames per second.

- Landscape was imported from LiDAR data. The resolution was not outstanding, so it was mainly used for the general layout, and after a lot of improvements made in the editor terra-forming.

In version 0.2:

This update replaces makeshift trees with BeamNG trees for improved optimization and visual experience.
