About This Mod

Pro Impact Survival Rating will bring a believable biomechanics of collisions to BeamNG.drive! Using current NATO and NHTSA survey standards, this modification will calculate the ability to survive in real time based on the accelerations you are experiencing.

What is his uniqueness? Scientific accuracy!

- Designed on the basis of crash test criteria NATO RTO-EN-HFM-113 and NHTSA FMVSS 208

- Simulation of damage depending on the vector (side impacts are MUCH more dangerous than front-end ones!)

- Taking into account the impact of prolonged congestion using Wayne's stability schedule

- Genuine biomechanical boundaries based on human anatomy

Careful monitoring

- Observation of 3-axis acceleration: horizontal, axial and vertical forces are analyzed separately

- 6 degrees of damage: safe → minimal → moderate → serious → critical → lethal

- Impact sequence score: automatically detects individual impacts

- Maximum Congestion Information: Capture the maximum acceleration that you have experienced

- Duration monitoring: Protracted strong acceleration is more harmful

Vault-Tec Style:

- Interface in the manner of retro-Pip-Boy with a genuine CRT raster line Effects

- Moving Walt-Fight figurine, changing color according to the severity of the injury

- Phosphorous green glow with traditional postnuclear shade

- Flickering critical/fatal alerts

How it works:

The mode reads the acceleration values directly from the BeamNG simulation kernel and transforms them into overloads. He then applies genuine biomechanical models to assess the likelihood of harm:

Examples of boundary values:

- Side impact with acceleration 25G: Significant risk of fatal injury (organs exposed, no deformation area)

- Front impact with acceleration 45G: Possible serious chest damage, but life chances are with the use of restraint systems

- 40G Vertical Push Acceleration: Destructive Spinal Compression

- Multiple thrusts accumulate - each impact aggravates past injuries. Long-term, severe overloads (longer than about 1 second) are more effective than brief ones.

Features Overview

Real-time survival chance (0-100%)

Show 3-Axis Acceleration Immediately

Automatic recognition and calculation of impacts

Vehicle telemetry (speed, engine rotation, transmission, fuel, throttle, brake, temperature)

Capture maximum acceleration on all axes

Control of the duration of prolonged overloads

Save information to the console for detailed collision analysis

Light weight and excellent performance

Educational Use:

Have you ever wondered why racing cars need side impact protection? Or why are Formula One drivers able to withstand frontal collisions with acceleration above 50G, but side-to-side contact with acceleration of 25G extremely detrimental?

This modification illustrates the true biomechanics of shocks:

- Side overload: ~12G (safe limit for human)

- Longitudinal overload: ~25G (safe limit for modern containment systems)

- Vertical overload: ~15G (safe threshold for spine)

- It is a fascinating method of learning safety in accidents, enjoying the amazing physics of BeamNG!

Creators: NATO RTO-EN-HFM-113 (Impact Biomechanics)

NHTSA FMVSS 208 (Safety of sedooks in case of an accident)
