AVIATION ME262 V1.2 (0.31.X)

Many users reported problems with the engine not running. The me262.zip file should be placed in the document/beamng.drive/mods folder. Do not extract, rearrange, or open this file. If you have problems with the engine, remove the mod and re-install it using the method described above. Clearing the game cache should solve all problems.

The mode includes five configurations:

Me262 A-1a 'Schwalbe'.

'Basic model', this version is equipped with basic weapons and standard Jumo 004 engines.

Me262 C-2b R7 'Heimatschützer II'

Specialized versions of the C-2b interceptor prototype were powered by the less powerful TLR 003R engine, but had built-in liquid rocket accelerators, allowing them to gain altitude in minutes and meet the formation of bombers. These were activated when the throttle was fully opened and allowed 24 P4M air-launched missiles to destroy any aircraft in sight, but were less effective against ground targets.

S.92.

Produced by the Czechs after the war, the S.92 worked peacefully with the Czech Bf 109 for several years, and was then replaced by newer aircraft.

Ki 201.

Towards the end of the Pacific War, the Japanese Army attempted to build fighter jets to counter the American B-29s circling over the homeland. One such attempt was Ki 262, essentially a copy of Me 201. None of these were eventually released.

A-62 Swift.

A pure fiction, the A-62 was an upgraded version of the Me 262 designed to attack from the ground and conduct combat operations in contested airspace. It was equipped with an advanced guided missile interception system capable of killing targets with lethal accuracy and deterring incoming missiles with its own electronic countermeasures.
