About This Mod

B25 Mitchell Operating Equipment for BeamNG. Engine on/off: V Up: Down Arrow: Up Arrow Left: Left Arrow Right: Right Arrow Throttle: T Throttle: G Level up: Home Key Level down: End Key Wheel brake: Z (toggle switch) Flap switch: M Lantern: O Navigation lantern: P Left wheel Brake: Left arrow (slow motion) Right wheel brake: Right arrow (slow motion) Remove chassis: N Slide out chassis: N Open bomb hatch: (toggle) Use parts menu Ctrl-W Load bombs.Start the aircraft off when appears At the moment the aircraft is off. To start the engines, press the V key for a few seconds until the engine is stabilized at 750 rpm. The plane is now ready to fly. HOW TO FLY: When the plane is on the take-off strip, press U to set the flaps to take-off. Then press Y and T to increase the throttle and hold it in this position (Rb if you are using an Xbox controller). Once the engine has maintained a steady 2400 rpm, release the brakes. Slowly lift the plane and let it take off. From the ground, he must gain speed over 100 miles per hour, otherwise climb a little more. With a positive climb speed, press N on the keyboard to lift the chassis and fly horizontally, gaining speed and avoiding obstacles. At this point, press U again to lift the flaps, and reduce the throttle to 85% or less to prevent engine overheating. The maximum flight speed is about 340 mph. Exceeding this value may result in structural damage to the aircraft and loss of control. Avoid maneuvering at full deviation above 200 mph, as this may damage the aircraft structure. LANDING: Reduce the power to 20% and when the plane reaches the speed of 170 mph, press the N button to release the chassis and the U button to release the flaps and enter the landing configuration. The plane will slow down to 140 miles per hour. Once on the runway, push the G key until the engine starts idling. Gain altitude to maintain a smooth descent speed. When the speed drops below 130 mph, press T to increase the power, then press G again to return to the plan. Stretch out before landing to avoid damage to the wheels and gear box pillar. Try to land at 110 mph. Once on the runway, push the Y button to activate the wheel brakes if necessary. The brakes shall be applied progressively: 85 per cent of the brake pressure at 0 per cent of the throttle opening and 15 per cent of the brake pressure at lower speeds. Steering: Press the Sharp button under the Plus to reduce the speed to 1000 and open the throttle by about 5% so that the speed does not exceed 30 mph. The acceleration should be as small as possible, as the plane quickly gains high speed. As in real life, there is no front wheel steering, so wheel brakes are required to turn at low speeds. To perform a full turn of 180°, reduce the speed to 10 km/h, install the throttle to 20% and turn the steering wheel completely left and right. The plane turns with the wheels locked and the nose tilts. After turning around, go ahead a few meters to make sure the nose of the plane is standing straight. Bombardment: Select four 500-pound bombs from the Ordinance slot in the parts menu Ctrl-W. Open the door of the bomb bay and press . to drop bombs one by one. Bombs detonate in the air at a certain distance from the aircraft, but still can get close enough to cause damage, so ensure sufficient altitude to prevent detonation. The bomb will explode after overflying the target. For advanced users: the aircraft actively controls the propeller’s rotation speed, by default it is about 2400 rpm. This speed is ideal for work during take-off and landing. You can control it by using the + and ' buttons on the keyboard. This function is not required for a short-term taxiway, but it can be useful for speed reduction and ground turn control. Another use is to reduce the screw rotation speed to 1700 rpm and install the throttle by about 55% to reduce heat in the cruising mode. Version 7.3 (07.02.25): - The engine and thermal control features presented in the game are now more realistic. A long-awaited error that caused the engine to shut down when it appeared has now been fixed, and the game is as enjoyable as it was when it appeared. - Reconstruction of the pilot cab and dashboard (unfinished) - new and improved structure of the screw beam. Improved performance of warp and high speed. For this change I completely redesigned jbeam and lua code. Each propeller has two sets of hydraulics for improving the control of the angle of attack of the propeller blades. Written by Joelvb.
