 Detailed control

Initializing.

When the plane is recognized, the power is turned off. To start the engines, press the V key for a few seconds until the engine is at 750 rpm. The plane is now ready to fly.

How to Fly.

On the runway, press the U key to put the flap on the take-off position. Then press Y and T to increase the throttle and hold it in this position (Rb if using an Xbox controller). Release the brakes when the engine reaches a constant 2400 rpm.

Slowly lift the plane and let it take off under your own pressure. The ground lift speed should be higher than 100 mph, otherwise raise the plane a little bit more.

If the climb speed is positive, press N on the keyboard to lift the chassis and fly horizontally, gaining speed and avoiding obstacles. At this point, press U again to lift the flaps, and reduce the throttle to below 85 percent to avoid overheating the engine. The maximum flight speed is approximately 340 mph. Exceeding this value may result in damage to the aircraft structure and loss of control. Avoid full-load yaw maneuvers at speeds above 200 mph, as doing so could damage the airplane’s structure.

Landing.

Reduce power by up to 20% and press N to release the chassis at 170 mph.

When the plane is in landing position, press U to release the flaps. The aircraft will slow down to 140 mph. Once on the runway, press G until the engine starts idling. Dial in height to maintain a slight descent speed.

When the flight speed drops below 130 mph, press T to increase the power, then press G again to continue with the plan. Stretch out before landing to avoid damaging the wheels and gear stand. Aim to land at 110 mph. When you land on the runway, press Y to activate the wheel brakes if necessary. The brakes shall be applied gradually: 85 per cent of the brake pressure at 0 per cent of the throttle opening and 15 per cent of the brake pressure at lower speeds.

Taxi.

To operate, press the Sharp button under Plus to reduce the speed to 1000, and open the throttle by about 5% to reduce the speed to less than 30 mph. Avoid acceleration if possible as the aircraft rapidly gains speed. As in real life, there is no front wheel steering, so wheel brakes must be used to turn at low speeds. To perform a full U-turn of 180°, reduce speed to 10 km/h, install the throttle to 20%, and turn the steering wheel completely left or right. The plane turns with the wheels locked and the nose tilts. After turning, go forward a few meters to make sure the nose is straight.

Bombing.

Select four 500-pound bombs from the Ammunition slot from the Ctrl-W parts menu. Open the door of the bomb compartment and press. Press the key to release the bombs one by one. The bombs explode in the air at a certain distance from the aircraft, but still far enough to cause damage, so make sure the height is enough to avoid detonation. The bomb explodes after flying over the target.

Advanced option.

The aircraft actively controls the propeller's speed, by default it is about 2400 revolutions per minute. This speed is ideal for takeoff and landing. You can control it using the + and ' keys on your keyboard. It is not necessary to use this function for short shirts, but it can be useful to reduce the speed and control the turn of the aircraft on the ground.

It is also possible to reduce the screw speed to 1700 rpm and install a throttle by about 55% to reduce heat in cruising mode.

Version 7.0 (12.02.24):

Today is an update day for this fashion. Many systems and JBeam have been redesigned. The material was converted to PBR, fixed some major Lua bugs, and added 20 new configurations. Improved speed control of the constant speed propeller.
