For the German version of readmes, a little different.

This repository contains island files to integrate river slots like those in Embesa onto all islands in the old and new world.

How to use

Automatically install Anno1800 using the Anna Mod browser available from the game's main menu.

Access the Github Unattended Installation Library with IModYourAnno mod managers.

Manual setting: I know how to set the mod manually. If you want to download the mod manually, use the GitHub releases archive. Do not load the entire repository.

This mode requires a new game save. Otherwise, the river slot will not appear on the island.

Riverslotz

On each island you can now find a different amount of riverslots (from 1 to 10 CF, right up to the media island). They work the same way as in Enbesa. The slot building can be connected on both sides of the river slot. The user interface is hard-coded, so unfortunately it can not provide a good interface for building directly in the slot. You need to choose the building from the Assembly menu.

This mod is primarily associated with modders ressource, providing you with the island files you need to run a project with your own river slot building. So everyone can include this in their own mod as a dependency via modinfo.json file. Due to the huge size of mods, I do not recommend placing them as subfolders of your mods.

Thank you to Taubenangriff for providing riverine slots on the five large Vanili Islands in the Northwest and the six middle Vanili Islands. The original idea for this fashion came to him at the beginning of the New Horizons project, but adding river slots is very boring, so I connected and found the right place for all the islands of the old world, as well as the newly added islands of the New World after DLC12.

The Loader11 adaptor comes with GU18. New features in Modloader have allowed us to significantly reduce the size of Riverslots mod files for sharing. This simplifies installation and maintenance of the mod. This also fixes a known issue where the Riverslots mod may not be compatible with some card mods. However, if someone else uses the file-sharing feature on a new island and the mod is downloaded after me, it is possible that the river slot is not generated on the island in question.
