About This Mod

Modifications made to:


- Compatible with game version 1.59.

· Advanced settings for raindrops on the windshield:

· Increased number of drops.

· Realistic droplet sizes.

· Improved physics of their movement.

· Reduced visibility in case of heavy rainfall or thunderstorm.

· Additional improvements in the visualization of drops.

- Reducing the effect of bands from rain.


Main features:


- Full compatibility with ATS 1.59 version.

- Ten unique and most plausible types of rain intensity and thunderstorm conditions.

- Realistic frequency of thunderstorms.

- Geographically adapted probability of rain.

- Taking into account the climatic characteristics of different regions of the USA when modeling weather conditions in summer.

- Adaptation of rainfall intensity to skybox settings.

- Realistic slippery road surface during the weather.

- Wind simulation, as close as possible to natural conditions.

- Accurate meteorological precipitation models: light, moderate and heavy rains, rainfall and thunderstorms of different intensity levels.

- Detailed visualization of raindrops on glass, taking into account their number, size and physical behavior.

- Reducing the impact of rain bands on the overall picture.


Important: the mod is not compatible with the graphical mods and seasonal add-ons from Grimes.


Recommendations: the optimum parameter for the probability of precipitation is 18%.


Modeling of rains and thunderstorms is based on up-to-date climate data, taking into account weather changes in different regions.
