About This Mod
The map of the Socialist Republic of Romania is a vanilla landscape on which you will build and develop your country.
You run a less-developed Cold War Romania, where infrastructure is shattered and industrialization is difficult, as most of the population lives in rural areas.
It has a coastline, high mountains and deep valleys. Roads and railways are built everywhere.
The map also shows real cities.
The Socialist Republic of Romania was a Marxist-Leninist one-party socialist state that officially existed from 1947 to 1989; from 1947 to 1965 it was known as the People's Republic of Romania. It belonged to the Eastern Bloc and was a member of the Warsaw Pact. It was bordered by the Black Sea to the east, the Soviet Union to the north and east, Hungary and Yugoslavia to the west, and Bulgaria to the south.
The map is based on the height map of the Carpato-Danubian Pontus area. It also tries to put resources where they really fit.
This map is an improvement on the previous map, which is also available in the unmanned version.
