About This Mod

This is the 20th collection of North Korea, a shopping center where Koreans can buy all sorts of everyday goods.


It employs 45 people and can provide goods for up to 595 people.


Pyongyang Department Store No. 1 is the main outlet in Pyongyang, North Korea. Located on Songgri Street, next to Kim Il Sung Square in downtown Pyongyang, it is one of the country's largest retail outlets and often hosts major merchandise exhibitions. The store, as well as the other two stores, are reportedly run jointly with a Chinese business partner.


The store sells a wide range of products, including electronics, clothing, furniture, food, kitchen utensils, and toys. As of 2013, about 70 percent of the items in the store are locally produced. The shop is also one of several official tourist attractions in the city. The first major department store accepts only local currency. It is a popular shopping center among locals, with an average of 20,000 shoppers per day in 2016.
