About This Mod

Desktop Application Management Tool, Warhammer 40K Portrait: Rogue Trader. A lightweight, convenient, simple and highly optimized tool for creating new portraits in addition to replacing old ones.

Definition

Owcat control tool for desktop application, game product portrait. It currently includes the Pathfinder and Warhammer series. A lightweight, user-friendly, simple and highly optimized tool for modifying existing portraits, creating new portraits and viewing. Users can manage portraits more conveniently and quickly. Simplify the process of copying, pasting, scaling, and creating video images. The application also allows users to delete or modify existing portraits. Support the wrath of the king's maker, justice, and rogue traders. You don't need anything October. With 99% probability already installedあ.NET る no dependencies other than Framework4.8. It supports custom NPC portraits for editing NPC and army images for the Pathfinder series. It can be easily expanded to work with future Owcat game projects.

Features

Create a new portrait

Users can upload any local or web images, scale them as needed, and finally create a portrait in the appropriate game catalog. Supports all major image formats: PNG, JPG, JPEG, BMP, GIF. Users can modify images for small, medium, and full-length portrait types by uploading their own or web-based images that have selected a specific portrait type. Unsupported files are ignored. The portrait you create is a near-exact copy of the image that appears in the frame when you scale it. Minor deviations are caused by trimming and resizing errors.

That was expected, and nothing can be done about it. The software automatically crops and resizes the image to the desired state, creating directories and image files. The user just needs to press the button. For each type of portrait, the panel now represents the required ratio of portrait aspect to game genre, and trimming will be more accurate when you see that the user displays the portrait more accurately.

Checking out from external folder

Users can extract portrait images from a local catalog to a portrait catalog. Select the folder that contains the correct portrait pack so that the program can process and create all portraits in the game folder. Select the image you want to go to the game directory. To move only a specific image, you can check out the selected image. Or you can pull out each of them and they will all be the correct portrait package. The program automatically copies the folder into the game portrait catalog. He only works with regular portraits. Custom NPC portraits do not work. The second feature is quite out of date, so it will not be implemented.

A valid image package must contain three images: small: 185 × 242 (factor 1,308), medium: 330 × 432 (factor 1,309), and full size: 692 × 1,024 (factor 1,479). Small: 260 × 336 (1.292 factor), Medium: 448 × 600 (1.339 factor), Full size: 1080 × 1480 for Warhammer 40000 (1.370 factor): Rogue Trader. The program will perform recursive parsing so that the corresponding folders deeper than 1 directory will continue to be processed. Ignoring other files. Note that these are the official proportions shown in the game, and other dimensions may not be appropriate. Fault tolerance is +/-2 pixels wide and +/-3 pixels high, but I can't promise it will work in the game. At first glance, Warhammer40k: Rogue Trader will zoom in and out to match the portrait (stretch), but in this case it will lose an A/R image. In most cases, Pathfinder uses the same method. In any case, fault tolerance is maintained. Therefore, ensuring the quality assurance of the deployed image package. If you're not comfortable with this, click Open Folder and start it manually.

Browse the gallery and edit / delete portraits

Users can view portraits of existing / created and running games. The user can delete or modify any portrait. Select an image from the list and click the button corresponding to the desired function. When you delete it, you will be asked if you want to continue. When editing, it asks if you want to create/copy an offline version, that is, delete/replace the old version. Manage all folder and file operations. On-site sharing is now enabled. Users do not need to use save changes, because changing certain portraits that may have already been used in the game is not an issue. He literally reproduces the portrait on the basis of new details.

Settings

I'm trying to avoid problems with the Portraits folder path. At startup, the program will automatically search in the correct folder with the game portrait and will narrow down to about 99.9% of cases. In case you are "lucky", you can find the game Portrait yourself folder on the settings page. Personally, I don't know how you got into this situation, AMI, but it's your decision. You can also resize the window on the settings page so that you can use the application in any resolution and see the portrait more clearly. You can change the game type, watch the localization used, and see if your NPC Portraits user mode is enabled.

Localization

It now supports localization. The concept has changed. No more .resx / .dll localization files need to be added. They are first included in the program. The first time you run the program, the language is the system language. You can then change the localization of the homepage. Russian English/English is written and tested manually, and German is translated using machine-generated artificial intelligence using DeepL. Some minor semantic and lexical errors can be made.
