About This Mod

Now you can make the door open every time it's locked. Unfortunately, this is not done by binding to a cast signs key, but by binding to a select Aard sign key. At the moment, I don't know how to solve this problem. For me, this is not a bad option, as long as my choice sign Aard is "1". All you have to do is hold this key for longer, as with alternate characters. You also need to aim at the closed door! Sometimes you have to stand very close to the door, watch the video to see how it works.


Installation


1. Use NMM to install or download and copy files to the Mods folder in your game localization.

2. Add these lines to the input.settings file located in Username\Documents\The Witcher 3. Add them to [Exploration].


IK_1=(Action=ForceTheDoorOpen,State=Duration,IdleTime=0.5)

IK_1=(Action=CastSign,State=Duration,IdleTime=0.2)


The best option is the same key binding as your Select Aard:


IK_1=(Action=SelectAard)


By default, select Aard is set to 3. Of course, if you prefer the default settings, you can change "1" to "3" in all these lines.


This was done to bind a key on the keyboard! For a controller, it should look like this, like this:


IK_Pad_A_CROSS=(Action=ForceTheDoorOpen,State=Duration,IdleTime=0.5)


Check how you cast Aard on your controller and tie it to the same key.


If someone finds a way to make the door open using Aard by default, that would be great.
