Custom Timeline

Adds to the menu the amount of in-game minutes per real minute (varies from 1 to 120 minutes)

Displays a localized pop-up message when the timescale changes, updates the value in the game, and does not require a reboot

Available languages: English, Spanish, German, Polish, Italian and Russian (anyone who wants to help with translation can send me their suggestions!)

Installation instructions

Download and install with NMM/manual (at your discretion)

Go to (Witcher 3 game directory)\MODS\modAHDCustomTimeScale - fashion directory

Move the "bin" folder to the Witcher 3 game directory (overwrite if necessary, only if you have already installed the mod)

Run script merge

Script merge conflicts: This mod is likely to conflict with many other popular mods in playerWitcher.ws*, it adds initialization information in the same place as most other authors. Make sure you manually copy all the information between // AeroHD — modAHDCustomTimeScale comments to your merged playerWitcher.ws to KDiff. These should only be two places that are in conflict and will be easily recognizable. Watch the video above if you are having trouble merging mods (I have tested this with almost all popular mods and got the correct merge).

* I chose to initialize this mod in playerWitcher.ws at spawn, because it ensures that the scaling will be properly set every time, regardless of the character (there are some cases where this would not be the case if it was done in r4Game.ws)

Change the time scale in the middle of saving

This mod dynamically updates the timeline value when you change it in the menu. Simply select the desired setting and close the menu. You will be notified that a change has been detected (UPDATE: this is now the only time you receive a pop-up message).

Uninstall instructions:

Delete or manually delete the NMM mod folder

Delete the AHDCTSConfig.xml file located in the (Witcher 3 game directory)\bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc

You can leave the settings in user.settings, nothing will be affected by this (but you can delete them if you want). Deleting this mod in the middle of the save will not cause any problems, the timeline will be reinitialized every time the game is loaded.

Additional notes: Anyone wishing to translate the menu can download the lines from the Miscellaneous section (for use with w3strings encoder GUI, please send me only a text file so I can encode on my side).
