About This Mod

With this mod, you can complete quests in any order without losing XP for quests that are 6 or more levels below the player's level (gray quests).


Maud removes the experience modifier, which is applied depending on the difference between the quest level and the player's level. It removes only the experience modifier for the difference between the quest and player levels, while other experience modifiers, such as difficulty-based modifiers, continue to apply.


Using this fashion:


if you complete a quest that is 6 or more levels below the player's level, you will get full XP for the selected difficulty, instead of the 5% that you would get in the vanilla game

if you complete a quest from DLC, such as Hearts of Stone, you will get full XP for your chosen difficulty, rather than +/- 16% experience for each level of difference, as happens in vanilla game


There are a few similar mods, but as far as I know they either do more than just remove the experience modifier for quest/player level differences, or are outdated.


Installation


Download the correct file for the version of the game you own. If you own the Steam or GoG non-GOTY version, download a file called "Get full XP from quests no matter the level", and if you own the GoG GOTY version, download a file called "Get full XP from quests no matter the level (GoG GOTY)".


Extract the contents of the archive into the 'mods' folder of the Witcher 3 game. If the 'mods' folder does not exist, create it.
