About This Mod
Maud introduces real-time meditation: start meditation as usual or press the hot key to make Geralt take the meditation pose and the time starts to accelerate. No menu that clutters the view, meditation is as immersive as possible.
While vanilla meditation simply removes all buffs and speeds up the time, real-time meditation really updates all buffs, toxicity, etc. in accelerated time while you meditate. This means that all potions and skills, such as "Sun and Stars", continue to work properly during meditation, restoring your health.
As in vanilla, real-time meditation also replenishes all your alchemy after you have meditated for an hour.
Real-time meditation uses a special fully adjustable camera with three presets available in the options menu: a camera facing Geralt, a "sightseeing" camera and a standard camera for examination with an increased FOV (field of view). You can turn off a special camera if you don't like it.
There are several modes for the meditation hotkey: in hold mode, Geralt meditates as long as you hold the button; in switch mode, you hold the button to start the meditation, and then hold the button again when you decide to finish it; in manual mode, the meditation hotkey is used to take the meditation pose, and another hotkey is used to advance time - you can use this mode to enjoy landscapes with the pre-set "sightseeing" camera.
Note: This mod does not change save files, so it is safe to install or uninstall it in the middle of a game.
How to Install/Uninstall
Community Patch - the base is required for the correct operation of this mode.
It is recommended to use The Witcher 3 Mod Manager (TW3MM) available on Nexus to install/uninstall mods. TW3MM installs all the fashion parts automatically, no additional manual steps are required.
For manual installation/removal instructions, refer to readme.
If you are using mod with Preparations mod, be sure to use "Preparations" preset in the mod options.
