About This Mod

Alchemy menu:

The "overfill" mechanism has been removed and replaced with the ability to re-create potions/bombs/oils/sets one at a time if you have the necessary ingredients.

All alchemy recipes now have new/different ingredient requirements.

Alchemy items are easier to create than vanilla games, but this is because each charge of cartridges needs to be created one.

Once you have learned a new rank of a particular alchemy subject, the previous rank will remain available for creation.


Alchemical creations:

Potions, bombs and oils have a maximum capacity of 4 cartridges.

The decoctions have a maximum capacity of 2 cartridges.

All potions with toxicity less than 25 were replaced by 25, with the exception of Killer Whale and Cat.

All potions have an action duration of 75 seconds, except for "Killer Whale" and "Cat".

All potions that directly affect spell power, adrenaline, attack power, and endurance have been loosened to increase the potion's duration. Example: Thunderstrike Potion (each rank) increases attack power by 10% > 15% > 20%.

Rufford's Brew Potion has been weakened (each rank) by 20%, 40%, 60% and no longer gives 3 seconds of invulnerability.

All oils have a maximum "charge" capacity of 35, regardless of rank.

Grade 1 oils have been improved and Grade 3 oils have been impaired. Example: Spectre Oil (each rank) increases attack damage by 15% > 30% > 45%.

Bombs, except for ammunition capacity, were not affected.

 After the last cartridge is used, the item will disappear from the inventory, rather than being displayed as "0/4".


Loot/Monster Items:

Species in the category "alchemy" are no longer used to create alchemical objects. Instead, the monsters drop off processed items corresponding to the monster's parts, and a basic alchemical ingredient such as Albedo, Québrité, Rebis... etc. Example: Neckers no longer drop Necker's Eye, instead dropping items resulting from Necker's eye processing in addition to vitriol (a basic alchemical ingredient).


Shops:

Almost all innkeepers and bartenders sell alcohol, which is really useful for alchemy.

Alchemists and herbalists sell healthier goods.


Alchemy skills:

The character's Tolerance Acquired skill has been changed to: "Increases maximum toxicity by 1/2/3 for each active alchemy skill multiplied by skill rank." - The reason for this change is that the original ability depended on the number of recipes that Geralt knows. This mod adds quite a few recipes, so the original effect will be too strong.

The character's Effectiveness skill has been changed to increase the maximum number of ammo for a bomb by +1 per skill rank.

Heavy Artillery has been upgraded to increase bomb damage by 200%, but by reducing maximum bomb damage by 3.



INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Place the modD004_AlchemyEnhanced folder in the /mods folder.

Run script merge

Remove the "modD004_AlchemyEnhanced" folder directly from the "/mods" folder
