About This Mod
Once upon a time, I created a Imperial Legion Backup mod that never made it. The idea was to organically add the Imperial Legion to the "Battle of Broome" mission. I didn’t know much about scripting at the time, but after learning OBScript [Oblivion scripting language] I wanted to come back to this idea one day. It took me about six years to do that. But I finally did. Let me introduce you to Provincial Allies for Bruma: In "Provincial Allies for Broome", players can use messengers in every major city (except Leiavin and Kwatcha) to recruit soldiers from the provinces of Tamriel. Some envoys agree to help immediately, while others require a prestige test. However, for those who are overwhelmed by the "armies" assembled in the vanilla game, this mod can be a great solution. To recruit troops, find an envoy in the city's castle at the appropriate time in MQ, in daylight. The Messengers of Valenwood in Skingrad are more difficult to find because of their rather specific schedule, but you should be able to find them.
