About This Mod

Don't you like some creature? Get rid of him.

Have you ever started a genocide because you wanted to get rid of this cursed Leviathan? Don't worry anymore! In a few minutes, you can wipe an entire race off the surface of the planet 4546B. Organisms in alien containers will be ignored!

2.0:

Configuration.

The Manage Creature Spawns 2 configuration works just like the original with the file "Settings.xml".

There is a "Settings.xml" file that sets the number of spawns of the creatures you want to control and an HTML page that provides XML for those unfamiliar with XML.

There is an HTML page that represents XML.

If you are familiar with XML and editing .xml files, the Settings.xml file contains instructions for creating XML.

The Settings.xml file contains instructions for creating XML." Find the creatures you need in the file "List of creatures.txt" and create spawn settings from there.

Create customizations; if you are unfamiliar with XML or want to go down a simple path, follow these steps

Open the file "GenerateSettings.html" in Google Chrome (it should work in any browser, but was tested only in Chrome).

Select "Subnautica" as the game.

Click the Add New Creature button.

Select the creature whose spawn rate you want to change.

Uncheck this if you don't want this creature to sleep.

If you did not clear the check box, adjust the spam speed. The only valid value is 0-100.

If you have not finished adding creatures, repeat steps 3-6. Otherwise, go to Step 8.

Click the Create Settings button.

Copy all of the text you created below.

Open Settings.xml in a text editor. Note: Windows (and possibly other operating systems) will attempt to open the file in a web browser by default, rather than in a text editor. Settings cannot be edited in the browser. You need to tell the operating system to open the file in a text editor, which can be done in Windows by right-clicking on the file, selecting Open With, and selecting Notepad.

Delete everything in this file.

Paste the text copied in step 9.

Save and close the file. The process is now complete.

Legacy.

Incompatible with Subnautica 2.0.

Due to changes in the Subnautica game engine and the deprecation of QModManager, the Legacy version of this mod will only work with the "old" Subnautica; QModManager is required.

Installation.

Download and install QModManager.

Download the zip file and extract it to the QMods folder created by QModManager.

Edit QMods.

Start the game.

Edit the configuration file!

You can disable creatures, change their spawning frequency, etc. To configure the 4546B ecosystem

Open the GenerateSettings.html file in your favorite browser (checked only in Chrome).

Start by adding a creature.

Select the creatures you want to control from the drop-down menu and uncheck if you don't want them to sleep, or change the probability of spawning to desired.

Repeat for additional creatures.

Click the Create Settings button.

Copy the text that appears at the bottom of the page into the settings.xml file.
