About This Mod

Experience Subnautica in a new way. This mode randomizes various aspects of the game, such as recipes, parts spawning locations, contents of data boxes, door codes, etc.

Customize the in-game options menu

Mod offers a detailed in-game menu where you can turn individual components on and off and customize their behavior to your liking. For example, if you don't like randomizing recipes, you can disable this module.

All options have a tooltip explaining their functionality. For more information, including additional options not displayed in the in-game menu, see the Subnautica/BepInEx/config configuration file.

Important: The options you have changed do not affect the game until you press the large Randomise button at the top. This is because some aspects of the game are only downloaded once the first time it is loaded.

In this regimen, they are randomized:

Most recipes in the game, except base decorations and food/water

Speed of parts appearance, location, quantity required and rewards for scanning already unlocked parts

Plans in data block

Spawning places of living beings

Contents of door and material box codes

This mode is not random:

Food and water recipes

Decorative base parts such as beds and vending machines

Spawning grounds for fish and raw materials

Mode compatibility.

Most mods should work well with the randomizer. However, fashion items will not be randomly selected and will not participate in development logic; if you want to include fashion recipes in your logic, you can do so by adding the following to the Subnautica/BepInEx/plugins/SubnauticaRandomiser/DataFiles folder recipeInformation.csv. For information on how to do this, see section 3.

Native support

Lifepod Unleashed.

Confirmed to be working

Unknown name

Problem or faulty

Spam customization (not used with fragment or databox)

Known issues.

When using eggs, it is impossible to create recipes using eggs until they hatch in an alien hangar. This is because the game treats undetected and detected eggs as completely different items. You can add a configuration option to start with all the eggs that are found.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.

Will this mod work with Subnautica: Below Zero?

No, it is exclusively for the original Subnautica.

Can I block myself?

No. Logic provides 100 percent completion of all tasks. However, the randomizer guarantees only one path to the next destination. For example, you may need to land on lava fields only in a shrimp suit, without first reaching the cyclops.

I need material that I don't have a drawing for.

Some drawings in the game are only opened after you purchase or make one of their materials. In particular, the enameled glass is opened after the first tooth of the follower or a scan of the observatory, and the plastelin is opened after the drawings of the first vehicles (Seamoth, Shrimp and Cyclops). The plastelin is also unlocked upon receipt of the first vehicle drawings (Seamoth, Shrimp and Cyclops). Most other advanced materials are unlocked by obtaining vanilla raw materials (for example, obtaining the first Deep Mushroom opens Polyanil). If the problem persists, write here for help.

How can I share seeds with a friend?

First, make sure you have the same version of the randomizer. Then share the config.json file in the Subnautica/BepInEx/config/SubnauticaRandomiser/ folder. If you have the same settings, you should get the same experience. Don't you already have a randomizer?

Yes, I do. Unfortunately, this mod has been inactive for a long time, not realizing the complete randomization of all the recipes in the game and other changes that I have added since. With the author's permission, this mod is created on its basis to provide more opportunities, more chance and more fun.
