About This Mod
This modification adds turn control to the Seamoth (and my modifications), providing complete freedom of turn when swimming or using the Seaglide.
Purpose.
This mod allows you to control the turn while swimming, using Seaglide or Seamoth. Normally in such situations, the roll is fixed, but this mode eliminates this and allows the player to control the roll. This allows players to perform maneuvers such as vertical spreads and loops, and fixes Seamoth's quick turn when looking straight up or straight down. This mode allows the diver to rotate freely while swimming.
Settings.
A number of settings are available under Rotation Control in the Options menu.
Turn to port: Z
Turn to starboard: C
Toggle Roll: toggle the roll on/off in the current motion mode. Note: Each vehicle is handled independently.
Submarine Roll Speed: changes vehicle roll speed.
Scuba Roll Speed: changes the speed of the player's roll.
Scuba diver's eye sensitivity: Changes the mouse's sensitivity when swimming.
Enable vehicle rolling by default.
Enable scuba rolling by default.
Future challenges.
These are currently digital controls, but we would like to add common analog axes in a future update.
We want to be able to rotate the body more skillfully so that we can improve the unlimited diving option.
