About This Mod

Turbo-acceleration of Subnatica loading time!

For some reason, Subnatica's loading time depends on the frame rate, and Fast Loading Screen eliminates this bottleneck, allowing the game to load as fast as your machine allows.


What is it?


This mod is designed to eliminate possible slowdowns in game loading and ensure that your game always loads as fast as your machine can handle! Thanks to this fashion I have reduced the loading time by almost half!





How to use


No configuration required!


Start the game as normal and make sure it loads as quickly as possible.



If you want to compare the difference with this mod and without it, follow the instructions below:


Optionally, enable the BepInEx console by editing the BepInEx.cfg file in the Subnautica BepInEx configuration as follows:

[Logging.Console]


## Enable the display of the console for logging.

## Configuration type: Configuration type: boolean.

## The default value is false.

Enabled = true

Start the game by holding down the left Ctrl key to load the save or start a new game. The left Ctrl key can be released after starting the download.

When the download to the game is complete, the following line will appear on the console:

[Message:Quick Download Screen] Benchmark completed, loading completed in 12.72 seconds.

Now return to the main menu, hold down the left Ctrl key and reload into the same save (or into a new game). The performance booster should now be turned on, and at the end of the boot screen on the console you will see the following message:

[Message:Express Setup Screen] Installation completed in 7.41 seconds.

[Message:Quick Install Screen] 5.31 second improvement.

If you have not enabled the BepInEx console, you can read the output in the LogOutput.log file in the SubnauticaBepInEx folder.


By the way, the above figures of the magazine are not invented, they are taken from one of my average benchmarks. Download times are nearly halved!
