About This Mod

Cameras of all classes and heroes will be centered, as in the original Battlefront game.

Note: you need the latest version of Frosty; if you can't install mod, you'll need to upgrade.


Is MP safe if it doesn't change the gameplay in a particular way, such as dealing 9,000 times as much damage?


Explanation.

It fully centers the camera on all classes and heroes, as in the 2005 BF2.


We've also included a project file so everyone can use it for anything or learn to do things on their own.


Oh yes, and this mod supports SP, so you can use the central camera in campaign mode too! Isn't that great? Doesn't anyone play the script? I tried it anyway.



Help me! Help me! The camera is too close! I can't see anything!

If the camera approaches the character too closely, we strongly recommend adjusting the FOV setting; a lower FOV setting may make it difficult to view in this mode. If you have this problem, I strongly recommend that you increase your FOV settings. Personally, I'm playing with FOV 84, I'd recommend a range of 70-90, and if you're playing with lower FOV settings, you might find that the FOV settings are too small.


Known issues.

Some cameras in the SP are still not centered, but I don't know what controls these cameras, and usually it's not combat segments, like when you go through the Khan Takodan bar, so I don't think it's too big a problem.

This modification modifies the Ewok reinforcements to use the BB droid camera. This is because Ewok's real amplification camera is a mystery that refuses to be edited (trust me, I've tried many times).


Suggested combination:

It is highly recommended to combine this mod with Classic Hud mod in order to visually get closer to Classic. It also looks better because the HUD elements are moved sideways rather than directly on the face.


(To be clear, you can use my project files or plugins to make your own edits to these mods. Frankly, I don't care if you name it after me or not. After all, I just do it for fun).
