SOTFEdit Companion
About This Mod
This is an optional plugin for SOTFEdit.
Once connected, it will allow you
- Teleport anywhere from SOTFEdit or in-game menu (default: F8)
- Create custom landscapes from the in-game menu (default: F9).
- Real-time update of player, net player, Kelvin and Virginia positions.
If both devices are connected, the following features are available:

- Create custom landscapes in the in-game menu (default: F9).
- Updating the location of the player, network player, Kelvin and Virginia on the SOTFEdit map in real time.
Customize.
After you have run the game with BepInEx and mod installed at least once, a configuration file will be created in the 'Sons of The Forest/BepInEx/config/SOTFEdit_Companion.cfg' folder.
Verify that the IP address and port are the same as the IP address and SOTFEdit port, and change the hotkeys as necessary.
Notes.
- In multiplayer games, Kelvin and Virginia cannot be teleported by players other than the host (since they belong to the host).
- Serial teleports can crash the game.
- Location is transferred only when SOTFEdit is connected.
- In the case of teleportation, a connection is also required, since the coordinates are transmitted from SOTFEdit.
- When you first open the teleportation dialog/configured point of interest, a slight delay occurs and then disappears.
- The shortcut keys act as toggles, so you can use the same key to show and hide the dialog.
