About This Mod

Continuation of the Reinforced Walls fashion previously created by Kinetictail. It adds thick walls that can withstand blows and blast damage. The mod also includes a version with trenches that can be shelled.


Note that this mod must be rewritten before it can be used in version 1.5. Because we do not know how the structure will work, the existing fortified walls are likely to break. So, if we can break them in 1.4 (we'll have to go back to beta), we can get some of the resources back.


Fashions in the old version include


Industrial technologies - reinforced concrete walls

Reinforced walls = 15 materials (e.g. sandstone) + 5 steel = 900 kp wall.

Reinforced wall = 15 materials + 5 steel = 900 kp wall.

The foundations of this idea were retained, but the mod was redesigned for extra balance. The base material cost and health points have been changed to match the targets and materials, and additional walls and technologies have been added:


Medieval technology: walls.

Wall = 20 materials = 1200 xp wall

Fortress walls = 15 materials = 900 xp per wall


Industrial technology: reinforced walls

Reinforced walls = 12 materials + 5 steel = 1200 kp wall

Reinforced walls = 8 materials + 5 steel = 900 kp wall


Confirmed when upgrading from *Kinetic version 1.4. My version had a lot of XP and needed to be repaired, but the wall remained. So you can duplicate the log file and check it.


This run has a one-time error message caused by your changes, but it can be ignored.
