About This Mod

The T-80 is the main battle tank (OBT) designed and manufactured in the Soviet Union. When it was commissioned in 1976, it was the world's second largest gas turbine-powered OBT after the Swedish Strv103 and was the first large engine to be used.2 The T-80U was last produced at the plant in Omsk, Russia, while the T-80UD and T-84 continued to be produced in Ukraine. The T-80 and its variants are used in Belarus, Cyprus, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Russia, South Korea and Ukraine. Improved towers, Contact-5 dynamic response armor, improved visibility and further development with the 9M119 Svir missile system. In 1990, a new 1,250 horsepower engine was installed. The total protection of the Kontakt-5 against apfsd / heating is 780/1320 mm rae. The 9K119M and 9M119M anti-tank guided missiles have been deployed since 1990. December 2011 Some tanks are equipped with the Shtora-1 guided missile system and the AT1-PO2T thermal night sight (detection range/classification range = 6400/4600 meters at night). The T-80U thermal night vision is located at a distance of 1750/1500 meters.
