About This Mod
This mod is not a LUA mod and must be set manually by modifying an existing Project Zomboid file.
This mod works with Steam or GOG versions.
It will run on any operating system.
The mode is client-side and does not require installation on the server.
The mod has been tested and works in both SP and MP.
How does it work?
Project Zomboid creates an area of 190x190 squares around the player.
This mode reduces the size of this area and avoids loading extra squares.
This allows you to expect a percentage increase of 40 to 70%.
How to Install on Windows
- Locate the installation folder "Project Zomboid ProjectZomboid" (default is "C: ˶").
- Open the ◆zombieiso folder.
EX:
ProjectZomboid
└────zombie
└──iso
- Open the mod folder in a separate window.
Example:

- Choose the folder that best matches your settings (this is an obvious preset, you can use 4k even when 1080p:)
* If you are using permission below 1080p, select the following folders.
* If you are using 1080p permission, select * \1080p
* If you use a resolution higher than 1080p.
* ⅳOriginal is a recompiled version of the original file.
Within each folder is a separate folder.
- Copy this folder (or its contents).
- Replace the existing folder (or file) in Project Zomboid.
Example:
Replace "˶" with "‾˶⃘".
Replace "○" with "◆BetterFPS◆media◆media◆1080p◆zombie".
This will overwrite the original file with the corrected file.
