VanillaFX - ReShade Preset

Part 1: For beginners. Experienced users review step 1 and proceed to step 5.

1) Download the latest version of Reshade here https://reshade.me/

2) Run ReShade Setup and look for Outward.exe

-(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Outward)

3) Select 'Direct3D 10+'4)

Select Yes to load the predefined effects, and then click OK

5) Download the VanillaFX preset located in the tab

"Files" 6) Place the extracted .ini file in the base game folder for Outward

-(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Outward)

Part 2: For beginners. Advanced users, choose VanillaFX in the game

1) Start the game

2) Press Home to open ReShade and start training

3) Select "Continue", then open the drop-down menu and choose VanillaFX

4) "Continue"

5) "Continue"

6) "Complete" training

7) Go to Reshade settings and set the switch key to your preference (I prefer "Scroll Lock")

8) Verify that you have set Reshade usage mode to performance mode.

9) Close the ReShade Configuration window Part 3: That's it! Play the game and enjoy my preset :D

Delete: Delete the following files and folder from your Outbox.

• reshade-shaders (folder)
• dxgi.dll
• dxgi.ini
• dxgi.log
• VanillaFX.ini
