Natural summer shade
About This Mod
Just a quick personal repainting preset that I did to bring a little visual to the game.
It makes the environment more like a bright sunny day with better lighting and shadows.
Performance impact should be the same as other presets (very minor).
Disclaimer
Due to the limitations on repainting, you will encounter an occlusion of the environment manifested through the player's hands and user interface.
If you don't need it, you can download the version without the occlusion effects.
Disable UI masking effects if you are mainly playing without enabled need bars.
Installation
Set the game's quality to Golden eye, at the minimum Better.
In the game settings, turn on bloom OFF and HDR ON.
The other settings don't matter.
1. Download the main file and drag it to the My Summer Car folder. (The Reshade INI should be located in the same location as the game's exe file.)
2. Download the latest version of ReShade (5.9.2 as of this writing) with add-on support.
3. Run ReShade exe and select mysummercar.exe.
4. Select the DirectX 10/11/12 option
5. In the Preset Setup window, select the ReShade INI file you downloaded to set the effects.
6. Done! If you want to further customize the effects, press HOME in the game to bring up the menu.
Uninstall
1. Run reshade exe and select mysummercar.exe.
2. Select the DirectX 10/11/12 option
3. Select the delete option
4. Done!
