Rogue Craft Data Pack (1.20.6) - Play Minecraft like a Roguelike

The Rogue Craft data package (1.20.6) is a data package designed to turn Minecraft into an easy rogue game by centering the game cycle around running. In each race, your goal is to defeat Ender the Dragon and score skill points to become stronger in future races. When all the players die, you will be sent back to headquarters to prepare for the next race.

Skill Points

Skill points are a valuable currency used to buy upgrades, and are required to promote this data package. Skill points can be earned in 2 ways. The first is simply moving forward. You'll gain skill points for smelling iron, finishing lava, entering Hell, finding Hell Castle, taking the Wand of Fire, entering the last, and killing Ender the Dragon.

2. Obtaining skill points The method consists in creating a skill score. Below you will see a recipe for skill points, each of which will reward you with a different number of skill points. A rare golden pearl in the center of the recipe is known as the pearl of craftsmanship. These are achieved by increasing your level of experience, which means that as you progress you will naturally get a good stock of gems of skill.

When you start a new race, try to spend as much as possible in the center, as all the skill points you gained in the previous race will be lost.

Update

An upgrade is a permanent buff that can be purchased at the center using skill points. They range from additional features such as maximum health and attack damage to effects such as jumping bonuses and night vision, and start with certain items such as wood boards and rare pearls.

Ability

Abilities are active spells that can also be acquired using skill points. All abilities have exactly 3 levels, increasing their strength or duration or reducing the cost of mana. In the center, you save 3 ability items to your active panel. If you click on an unlocked ability while holding one of these items, it will associate that ability with the holding element and allow it to be used while running. This means that by default you can only have 3 abilities.

Meaning

Mana is used to use abilities. Your current amount will be displayed as a bar at the top of the screen and will be updated gradually over time. You can only use abilities if you have enough mana for them. The maximum amount of your mana and the speed at which it plays can be increased in the Concentrator.

Class

The class is a powerful archetype and can be re-acquired at the center using skill points. You can be in the same class at a time, so choose the one that best fits your style of play. Each class possesses class abilities as well as a set of passive ambitions that work just like ordinary abilities, except for much stronger ones. There are currently four classes: tanks, sorcerers, healers and glass cannons.

Vanilla exchange

This update data package is so powerful that vanilla games have become much more complex. The first change is that you start with 5 healthy hearts without any improvement.

You also start each race with an unbreakable stone pickaxe (or a more powerful tool you buy for this upgrade). This is because all vehicle, weapon and armor descriptions are disabled in this data package. A few notable exceptions are buckets, flinstones, and data packages, which means that it is technically still possible to access the data package the first time it is run.

Unfortunately, this may not actually be possible, as Ender Dragon has been heavily modified to make the battle much more difficult.

Difficulty

The last change to make the game more complex is the difficulty level. It appears in the panel at the top of the screen. As the level rises, mobs receive significant buffs, from improved armor and weapons to reptiles that turn into undead totems, for recharging reptiles, and more.

Center

The center is decommunized as a central place to visit between races. You can spend your skill points here on upgrades, abilities and activities, but you can also find tutorials here.

Multiplayer

This data package has been tested and developed with multiplayer in mind. You can play a full and fun single-player game, but it is highly recommended to play it with friends.
