About This Mod

Entity Culling Mod (1.20.4) uses asynchronous tracing to hide invisible tiles/creatures; Minecraft skips rendering of what is behind them, but why render anything that is invisible because of the walls in the path? This module uses other CPU cores/threads to quickly trace the path from the camera to all tiles/creatures to determine if they are visible or invisible. During rendering, everything that is not visible will be missed, as will all the entities behind you.

Maud calculates the visibility of tiles/creatures in 64 blocks (i.e. 128x128x128 cubes) in each direction from the player, with everything else considered too far away and becoming invisible (this should correspond to some extent to the vanilla setting of "Entity Distance", but this size may change in the future).
