About This Mod

MagiCraft Addon (1.21) is a MCPE/Bedrock Spells & Magical Items mod that introduces spells and new items, raising combat to a more complex and enjoyable level.

Note: Please enable the "Inventory Maintenance" feature for optimal work.

Part One - New features:

MagiCraft adds various new features to Minecraft that change the vanilla gameplay. These features in the initial release are as follows:

  • The damage from the fall has been altered. The amount of damage is the same, but dropping too high will "break your legs" and give you slowness. Falling from an even higher height will also slow down your mining speed!
  • Now there are sweeping attacks in the game. This can only be done with the new weapon type described in Part Two.
  • Recovery time is now available for most weapons. Larger weapons will also slow you down when you attack with them.
  • Added new recipes that improve the comfort of life. Now you can melt the rotten flesh into the skin, crush the wool into 4 threads and combine the 4 rabbit skins into the skin!

Part Two - New Weapons:

New weapons added to MagiCraft include swords, battle axes, and more. Each of these weapons has its pros and cons:

  • Sabli has the second fastest reload - but she's weaker than a normal sword. It compensates for this weakness by allowing for sweeping attacks.
  • The battle ax is very heavy, but very powerful - however, because of this it can also slow you down. But since it is an ax, it is also a great choice for tree cutting.
  • A two-handed sword is similar to a normal sword, but more powerful. Like a battle ax, it also slows you down with attacks.
  • The dagger is very small and very fast - it has no reloading of the weapon!
  • Copper now has a complete set of armor, weapons and tools.

This weapon is available in the form of tools of any level except for the zeroite. The dagger is also limited to certain materials. Both will change in the next update!

Part Three - New Materials:

Various new materials in MagiCraft allow you to get new weapons and create folios - special books that allow you to learn spells! These new materials are as follows:

  • The essence of life is in its essence a magical material acquired only by those who are no longer alive, but still have a piece of life. It's a rare drop, but it's the basis of magic.
  • Mithril is a new material used for crafting - you can craft a full set of armor and a full set of tools and weapons!
  • Darkbloom is another new material created by mixing the ink of a luminous squid with the essence of life. Dark color is the basis of harmful magic.
  • Darkbloom Crystals are used to create foliants of malicious spells

Part Four - Getting Started with Spells:

Spells require training and become stronger the more experienced you become. To learn spells, you must create a Liberated Foliant. An unbound folio is created by combining a book with a vital entity, and from there you will have nine different folios to play. The essence of life is very rare, so some spells will take some time to cast. However, until you can cast spells, you can also cast a Zombie Scroll. Scrolls allow the user to cast spells, but they have limited use. They also have no flaws and do not scale their power with your player.

Here are the nine folios you can create to learn spells:

  • Healing Foliant
  • Resistance foliant
  • Fire Protection Foliant
  • The Book of Night Vision
  • Fade Induction Foliant
  • Fan Ewok's Foliant
  • The Foliant Resurrection of the Dead
  • Foliant summons familiar
  • Thunder's Call Foliant

More volumes will be added with each update. All of them are available in the book for needlework.

There are currently three scrolls:

  • Healing Scroll
  • Resistance Scroll
  • Scroll of night vision

Scrolls cannot be created.

Part Five - Use of Magic Power:

Once you finally acquire a spell, it will remain with you—it has no durability and can be used indefinitely. However, some spells have a cooldown. Recovery time is divided into categories, so if you apply "Resistance", you will not be able to use "Fire Protection". However, you will still be able to use Healing, Fade Induction, etc.

Spells scale based on your player's level. This means that if you have less experience, your spell is less powerful, has worse flaws, and is simply less effective overall. Spells also take energy to cast, which means that if you cast too many spells, you'll get hungry very quickly.

Here are the effects of each spell on each level:

  • Spells below level 5 are very weak. They are causing you headaches and draining a small amount of energy, but it takes you time to recover.
  • At level 5, they no longer cause you headaches. They take up as much energy, but you recover faster.
  • At level 10 they start to suck more energy, but you also recover faster.
  • At level 15 they draw even more energy, but you also have faster recovery times.
  • At 20th level, your body begins to feel the effects of casting such powerful spells - your cooldown is fast, but the spell's strength makes walking difficult.
  • At level 25, spells begin to take more energy.
  • Finally, after reaching level 35, you have mastered the art of magic. Spells are as powerful as possible and no longer have any downsides.
