Combat evasive maneuvers
About This Mod
Move fast
Shepard's mobility has increased significantly. Explore new combat options and overcome ME2 stiffness.
Avoid projectiles
Have you ever encountered Eclipse Sisters warps or Blue Suns missiles? A good evasion can make you virtually invulnerable.
Move to shelter
Quickly move to cover to take on a new tactical position.
Interaction with Physics
Evade interacts with a physical actor located at the level - you can roll through windows, destroy explosive containers and much more!
Wounding enemies
Hitting an enemy while evading does little damage. If the opponent is already weakened - for example, ragdall from another force or lighter than usual (for example, husky, warrens) - you can even push his body!
Officially, only installation via ME3Tweaks Mod Manager (abbreviated M3) is supported.
Several features in the SFXGame.pcc file must be edited to ensure a good evasion integration with the rest of the game. This will be done automatically during Mod Manager installation. You can read about each of the revisions used in this article, as well as why each is necessary.
If you can't or don't want to use M3 for installation, you'll still have to apply the above edits yourself using Legendary Explorer. The manual installation steps are described here.
Natively compatible with Bonus Power bonus.
By default, evasion is triggered by a single use key (default is Space on the PC, A on the Xbox controller), as in ME3. If you are using a mod that divides the features provided by the Use key into separate keys, or if you want to access evasion under another key at all, you should follow this guide.
To set the mod, drag the downloaded 7z file to the M3 interface.
Below is a summary of the options that will be offered during the installation. Each of these options can be changed at any time after installation by editing the BioGame.ini file in the fashion folder.
