Turn on the Shadow feature for all lights except fake lights and flashes.
Severely degrades performance!
You can install it via the steam startup command
Right-click the kingdom in steam, Properties, General > Set Launch Options button
enter +r_ShadowCastingLightsMaxCount=40
the game will now run with more shadows.
