About This Mod
It replaces the original Timewheel UI texture with a new wheel texture that displays the day-night cycle in a more realistic fashion.
After spending hundreds of hours in this game, I was bored with the original texture, and I remembered the pleasant pixel graphics of day and night from the old DOS game Realms of Arkania: Blade of Destiny, which had a very similar visual representation of the cycle of day and night while traveling.
It consists of three KCD screenshots taken in the vicinity of Užice, which were mixed together and augmented by the cool sunset shader Screenshot. It was difficult to find the original wheel and the exact time of dawn and dusk. Made with Photoshop Polar Filter and Topaz Studio 2 plug-in.
It consists of only two DDS-textures - a large wheel when you are sleeping or waiting, and a small wheel for a quick-move screen. Texture resolution is 4096x4096 and 1024x1024.
