About This Mod

The Decorated Ax is a beautiful weapon, and I was very disappointed when I realized how quickly it became irrelevant in the late game.


To remedy this, I have strengthened it, making it better than the Knight's Ax and the Horseman's Kirk, but it is particularly good at defending, which is now the most powerful of all axes, and by a large margin. Considering that this weapon can be obtained very early in the game compared to the other two late game axes, I made my version of the ax autonomous from the original and significantly increased the requirements for the characteristics for the balance. To forge an ax, of course, you need the original.


I also included a version of the file that rebalances the ax around Weapon Rebalance Overhaul, which I highly recommend for a more sophisticated combat experience. However, the mod made the Decorated Ax pitifully weak with a power score of only 49, while the Knight's Ax gave out 72. This makes the Decorated Ax a great weapon later in the game with active overhaul.


And finally, now there's a handy forging recipe to make Henry's quality ax if you missed it. But forging it would require a bunch of pennies and silver drinking utensils - that's a silver ax.
