About This Mod

HUD On/Off This is a simple setting to turn HUD on/off as in the original KCD These settings do not disable achievements as in Bethesda games Installation: For Steam users: 1.) Place the steam/steamapps/ user.cfg file in the KCD2 directory in the common/KingdomComeDeliverance2 directory, or if you already have the user.cfg file with the commands "bind f2 wh_ui_showHUD 0" and "bind f3 wh_ui_ showHUD 1" Copy and paste them 2.) Next, right-click on KCD2 in steam and select Properties. Then copy and paste it into the startup options: +exec user.cfg 3.) If you want to open the console, add -devmode to the startup options. For Epic Games users: 1.) Place the user.cfg file in Epic Launcher Games in Epic Games:) For launch options, click the three dots next to the game in the launcher, then click "Manage"). Enable startup options and copy and paste: +exec user.cfg 4.) If you want to open the console, add -devmode to the startup options. Without GOG or launcher: 1.) Go to the KCD2: KingdomComeDeliverance2Bin Win64MasterMasterSteamPGO 2 folder.) Locate the file "KingdomCome.exe", right-click on it and create a New shortcut). Right-click the shortcut, open its properties, and select the Shortcuts tab.) Copy and paste at the end of the target section "+exec user.cfg": "(any file/disk path)˶KingdomComeDeliverance2Bin˶Win64MasterMasterSteamPGO˶KingdomCome. exe" +exec user.cfg 5.) If you also want to enable the console, add -devmode to the startup options in the options! To turn HUD off and on, simply press F2 and F3. You can also change this button to any other button, such as F2, F3, F4 or F5. However, by default, F1 is in photography mode. Note: If commands are already present in user.cfg, copy and paste 'bind f2 wh_ui_showHUD 0' and 'bind f3 wh_ui_showHUD 1' (without quotes). If for some reason you get an error that the command cannot be found, try replacing them with 'bind f2 wh_ui_showHUD = 0' and 'bind f3 wh_ui_showHUD = 1' (without quotes). If you want it to work with the controller, do the following: open the KCD2 controller layout in steam - click on "Edit Layout" - click on "DPad" - click on the configuration gear "DPad Right" - click on "add extra command". Click on the newly created configuration gear 'Command 2' - click on 'Regular Press'. Click on 'Regular Press' and change to 'Long Press' (hold the button for a second instead of pressing quickly) - after selecting 'Long Press', click on 'Settings', mark 'Rotate Commands' and close - click on 'Rotate Commands'. This will make "Command 2" snap to F2 - Next make "Subcommand" snap to F3 In the game, hold down the right button DPad for at least one second. As in KCD1, communication with the controller is established independently of the pair pattern. Because of this, the right DPad still opens the Quick Eats menu, but since it is the least annoying of all the buttons in the game, instead of quickly pressing the right DPad hold it for a second to cause a pop and turn off HUD. Pressing it again returns the HUD back. Additionally, Dual Sense does not appear to be supported on the Steam, but is supported on the XBOX for some strange reason. If you are using DualSense and want it to work with the PlayStation controller, try connecting it using a DS4 program.
