About This Mod

Not-So-Smart AutoSave II mode automatically starts saving Kingdom Come games at adjustable time intervals: Deliverance II progress will not be lost. It is compatible and can be used with both Steam and Epic installations, and works seamlessly in the background with countdown in the tray. Resume "Have you ever forgotten to save and missed hours of play? Introducing you to the new Squire, not very smart AutoSave II. He's a little stupid, but he doesn't forget to stick around. This mode automatically starts saving at regular intervals so you can focus on your adventure without fear of missing out on progress." Features Autosave: simulates pressing F5 at user-defined intervals to ensure continuous game saving. Custom interval and startup delay: The frequency of game saves and the delay before the first autosave can be set by editing the config.ini file. Hidden operation: The countdown to the next autosave is displayed in the system tray icon and works silently in the background. Advanced logging: If logging is enabled, autosave events are recorded and stored in the autosave.log file. Support for multiple launchers: works with both Steam and Epic Games Launcher; Steam: launches a game using the Steam URL; Epic: launches a game using a desktop shortcut; Epic: launches a game using a desktop shortcut. Mod Requirements Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Unlimited Saving II - required for unlimited F5 saves Windows AutoHotkey - https://www.autohotkey.com/ Configuration: edit the config.ini file in the mod root folder using a text editor (e.g. Notepad) to edit and change settings: SaveInterval - set the time (in seconds) between autosaves (default: 300 seconds or 5 minutes) InitialDelay - time to first autosave (default: 300 seconds) EnableLogging - set to True, to enable logging (logs are stored in the autosave.log file) Platform - set to 1 for Steam, 2 for Epic (Epic users must have a desktop shortcut named "Kingdom Come Deliverance II.url") Installation Guide: 1. install Unlimited Saving II mod; 2. download and unzip the The Not-So-Smart AutoSave II mod archive; 3. add the "Mods/The Not-So-Smart AutoSave II" folder to the game directory (for example, ˶Mods˵The Not-So-Smart AutoSave II); 4. open the config.ini file and change the settings as needed; Installation in Vortex (optional, but recommended): 1. open Vortex; 2. press Dashboard > Tools > press '+' > press 'New'. - Name: Name: The Not-So-Smart AutoSave II - Target: \Target: The Not-So-Smart AutoSave II ¦StartGameWithAutoSave.vbs 3.
