SafeChute disables time curves when the parachute opens and just before touchdown; time curves can be restarted manually after SafeChute stops time curves.
This plugin was originally needed to prevent the ship from falling apart during the unfolding of the parachute, which in recent versions of KSP is no longer so relevant, but still useful.
It can be installed in the config.xml file:
* Minimum plugin height (default is 10,000 m).
* Height at which warp stops on the ground (default is 15 m).
The height above the ground is calculated depending on whether it is closer to the terrain or to "sea level".
All parachute deployment heights are automatically supported.
Compatible with RealChute parachutes and parachutes.
