This modification extends the capabilities of the EVA mission of the carbonate. It allows connecting different ships. Why connect them? What about undocked resource transfers? Or the two ships must stay together without joining. In addition, the mod has an active part that works like a winch!
A wide range of relationships are supported:
Hard. In fact, these are simple supports, but they can be installed and removed kerbala in EVA. Bring a few of these supports to the base to strengthen the structure!
Unlocking Rigid. Same support, but the hinges are unlocked. This allows the ships to move without being too close or too far apart.
Do you need to tow your ship? If so, you need a tow bar. Only KAS will help you to choose a modern tank that will help to operate the ship. The faster you tow, the more fun you will get!
Flexible. An elastic cable that can stretch to a certain extent while keeping the boat in place.
Active flexible. It is still a cable, but the distance can be changed using EVA kerbals or the remote control GUI. It's essentially an electric winch.
Transfer of resources. Instead of some freedom of length, the structure has zero power. Tie your ship to the maximum distance and use a convenient graphical interface (much more convenient than sink!) to move resources.
Almost all types allow remote docking of ships. After docking, the ship becomes a single base from which to use all the features of the game.
