About This Mod

SSGI is a more advanced lighting system that you can enable through the Engine.ini file.

Simply add these lines to the bottom of the file located at AppData\Local\Hogwarts Legacy\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor:



While this is due to a loss of performance, you can use the HalfRes and Quality options to reduce costs, especially if you are

use something like DLSS or FSR 2.0. It is worth mentioning that this affects

on the use of a GPU, which is not bad, given that the game has performance problems

, related to the processor.


It should be noted that this will only improve the AO and IL games, as full GI requires proper implementation by developers. Anyway, I decided I'd let people know, because I was a bit unhappy with my own implementation of AO in the game.
