Description: fmtv fmtv (abbreviation for Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV)). - The Medium Tactical Vehicle (FMTV) family is a family of single-chassis medium tactical vehicles used by the U.S. Army. The family is based on the Austrian military truck Steyr 12M18, produced by BAE Systems Land & Armaments. M1078 FMTV is available in two versions: 1. a transport vehicle (10 hp), capable of carrying 6099 people in the body; 2. the first version of the M1078 with a 25 caliber canopy.HEMTT HEMTT (Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck) - the eight-wheeled 9.1-ton M977 HEMTT entered service with the US Army in 1982 as a successor to the M520 Goer and has since been produced for the US Army. The M977 HEMTT was the first version of the HEMTT produced for the U.S. Army. M977 HEMTT tractors and towers are available in three versions: 1. a conveyor capable of carrying 16 persons (7897 hp) in its body; 2. a cargo version capable of carrying all types of ammunition of caliber from 25 mm to 155 mm (7736 hp); 3. a tanker (7729 hp). Two lines are available: the first two variants of the M977 have a roof. - To use the tanker, the operator must take the right side of the back of the machine and press the E button to take the tanker hose. · To use the cargo hold the rear of the vehicle and press the E button on the chassis.
