About This Mod
Game Mechanics
Tracks - at the beginning of the game, four tracks are selected on the table. The default is Ant-Man, Union, Rebel, and Zombie. These tracks define the types of units that can be placed on them.
Mana is a resource that is acquired at the beginning of each turn and is used to place maps. Each card has a different price, and the amount of mana increases each turn. For example, on the first move you have only 1 MP, and on the fifth move you have 5 MP, which allows you to do more in one move!
Units are the cards that make the whole battle! Units have ATK and HP and can only be placed on tracks corresponding to their type! Combinations such as Metrokop can only be placed on combined tracks. There are also versatile fighters that can be deployed anywhere!
Buildings - they can be placed next to units and have a passive effect on them. Buildings cannot be destroyed by conventional means, and they last for a very long time. Only certain forces can remove them.
Abilities are disposable effects that can be used on any lane! Abilities give great effects such as increasing unit stats, dealing direct damage to an opponent, or adding cards to the deck!
Special Abilities - Each unit has a special ability that can be activated after it survives at least one move. These abilities consume mana and have a limited number of uses. They can increase unit stats, self-destruct, deal damage to enemies and other wonderful effects.
Special Content
Create your own tracks, maps and special abilities! Issue the qcw_menu command, or open the menu from the Create menu on the Utilities tab. As an administrator, you can allow any player to edit or create content.
The content creator has a user-friendly interface for editing map parameters and set of actions (install HP, install ATK...) and comes with a skill editor that allows you to create a set of actions (install HP, install ATK...). Don't worry, the kit also includes a tutorial.
Buckets cannot be deleted or edited! Buckets are the default unit of measure and are used when other units are not available. Without them, the world of QCardWars would have collapsed. Aquarius is the supreme God behind reality.
Bugs and problems
Decks often become invisible to players. This is due to high network load. The author plans to fix this in a future update.
Special cards may not appear randomly in decks, even if they are active on the server. This happens, in particular, when you click on the button "Add cards from the set".
Custom deck sizes will be added soon.
Support for more than two players/more than four lanes per player will not be added.
If the text in the table does not appear or appears in square, the system does not support the font for some reason. The font that I use in QCardWars is a new font and is the default on most systems. If it's not, there's not much I can do about it.
The author cannot translate QCardWars into any language. This is because GMod's language system is so bad that I want to kill myself.
