About This Mod

Description:


The International Harvester 656 is a medium-sized tractor for crops in the International Harvester (IH) 06 range. It was produced from the 1960s to the early 1970s, and gained popularity for its strength and versatility on small and medium-sized farms.

Harvesting versions, utility and hydrostatic

2WD (2-Wheel Drive)

Approximate weight: 6000-7500 lbs (depending on configuration)

Motor options:


Gasoline Engine:

IH C263 (263 cubic inch, 4.3 liters) inline 6-cylinder

Approximately 67-70 hp capacity

Diesel engine:

IH D282 (282 cubic inch, 4.6 liters) inline 6-cylinder

It is known for its high torque and fuel efficiency

Some models also offered a liquefied gas version

Transaxle Options:


Gear Transmission:

5 front gears, 1 rear (with TA - torque amplifier for additional gear division)

Hydrostatic Transmission (656 Hydro):

Infinitely variable speed control

Ideal for tasks requiring frequent speed adjustments (e.g. forklift or mowing)

Execution options:


Missing (656): Adjustable front axle

Utility (656 Utility): Low Rack, Fixed Axle
