The models and textures of grenade launchers were changed in the standard and unique versions. Updated gameplay with optimized firing spring and reduced screen flicker. Three resolutions, including 4K. Have you ever tried playing Fallout New Vegas in an explosive-oriented build? No, now it's time to change that. Introducing: Grenade Machine Gun Reborn, a visual and gameplay upgrade to one of the game's best weapons. A grenade launcher is a commonly overlooked type of weapon for several reasons: it requires the maximum explosive skill and a STR of 8, it is very rare in the world, and the only NPC you will encounter it from is at Nerys Base. It is rarely found in merchants' inventory, and a unique version of Mercy is at the end of one of the most difficult dungeons in the game. Many people don't even know about the existence of these weapons, but hopefully this fashion will change the situation a little. The internal triangle of the muzzle brake floats, the anti-aliasing group is awful, there are too many UV defects, and the Obsidian development program was rigid, so I can't be too strict to it. So I decided to make the desired changes and started a complete reworking of not only the standard grenade launcher, but also its unique variant. This is the most ambitious modification project I have ever undertaken, and I am very proud to introduce it to you today at Nexus. A complete reworking of the grenade launcher model, its UV and textures, fixing bugs that have been in the game for more than a decade, and finally a visual reworking of this type of weapon that it deserves. The unique version of Mercy received the same processing as the standard version. In addition, the unique rusty appearance and paint "Hei Gui Bye-Bye" is preserved, as well as a yellow screen tint. To adapt the textures to different settings, they are included in 1K, 2K, and 4K resolutions. The 4K package contains only 4K textures for the diffusion/albedo map of the main body, and all other maps (normals/specifications, brightness, reflex masks, etc.) are included in 2K. This means that in the 2K package there are only a few 2K cards, most are set to 1K, and the 1K pack contains mostly 512px cards. Grenades now fly 50% farther than before, so you'll still have to aim a little higher, but not as ridiculous as before. Also, if a grenade explodes next to you, the flicker of the screen was greatly reduced (because, frankly, it was just ridiculous). It is worth noting that due to engine limitations, these changes do not apply exclusively to these two weapons, but must be applied to the entire 25mm and 40mm range of projectiles. This means that all weapons using these shells will actually get an increase in firing range. Gun Runner's Arsenal must be installed for the mod to work properly. The mod is (mostly) self-contained and changes only the vanilla game assets (it transfers changes made in Lonesome Road and YUP for compatibility, but they are by no means mandatory), but changes for the new types of 25mm and 40mm ammunition added to the GRA are included. The combination of this fashion with daenoman’s HD Smoky Fire and Explosions, Falloutkid14’s All Explosion Sounds Overhaul and Nehred’s No More Explosion Blindness is a perfect experience! My opinion. To make it easier, I recommend using your favorite mod manager. . It probably won't work well with modes that make changes to the models of these two weapons, but there aren't many such modes, so it should be okay. If you run into any incompatibilities, let me know. (Due to the influence of this fashion on textures and mesh, a version without ESP might be possible, but I have no plans to do so. If you want to reduce the swelling of the load queue, do this work yourself or combine it with something else).
