Fallout 4 Style Gatling Laser This mod adds new but familiar weapons to the world of New Vegas. When I amassed enough lids to buy a laser minivan from Van Graaf, I was a little disappointed. The barrel doesn't rotate. The sound of a gunshot. Nothing else. Then came Fallout 4 and a big, sexy, rowdy laser that I was hoping to get as a heavy photon-based weapon. If you, like me, think there's something missing from New Vegas's Gatling lasers, and you prefer the latest version, try this mod and take a look. The mod includes two Gatling lasers depending on which DLC you have; if you have a Gun Runners Arsenal, the mod includes both Gatling and Sprtel Wood 9000 lasers. There are versions of Replacer and Standalone, depending on whether you want to get a weapon to replace the old Gatling laser or just a weapon for yourself and your friends. The weapon has custom meshes, textures, and firing sounds. Textures are special edits of vanilla and EVE-textures. I am not claiming that these models are 1:1 copies of the Gatling lasers from Fallout 4, I have tried to mix the New Vegas weapon styles with the Fallout 4 weapon styles as far as possible. Video AlChestBreach, Ollyoxen and Dongobot introduced this mod in their series of mods, please see About Fashion Weapon in the standalone and replaceable versions of this mod is the Gatling Laser mod that can be changed in the game using the vanilla fashion Gatling Laser for simplicity. The CF Frame and Focus Optics modes reduce weight and increase damage respectively. The Replacer/Standalone and Installation Replacer simply replace the Gatling Laser and Sprtel Wood. The standalone version is in a separate box in one of the BoS bunkers in the Hidden Valley; the 4xAER9 Gatling Laser requires 50 Lockpick skills, and the unique variant, the 4xAER14 Gatling Laser, requires 100 Lockpick skills are required for the unique variant, the 4xAER14 Gatling Laser ("AER9 and 14" are the lasers that make up the barrel, "4x" means that there are four). Damage The modified version of the weapon deals exactly the same damage as the vanilla version, but unfortunately due to the reduced speed of the shooting animation, the game spoiled the DPS calculation and it will be displayed much lower than usual on your pip. Don't worry. We didn't change the firing rate of the lasers or the damage per shot. Autonomous 4xAER 9 and 14 have slightly more damage per shot, but less firing speed and ammunition stock than vanilla. However, for peep fights, this may not seem like the case due to poor DPS calculation. In any case, 4xAER 9 and 14 have slightly higher DPS than vanilla. Compatibility This single mode should not have problems with other modes, except for modes that change textures. However, this is unlikely, as most weapons use custom textures. If you use other mods that replace Gatling Laser and Sprtel Wood, the Replacer version may have problems, but if you install this mod after them, everything should be fine. In the vanilla game, both the Sprtel Wood 9700 and AER14 shoot green lasers, which corresponds to the literature as long as additional versions of the AER14 are allowed.
