Robots for settlements
About This Mod
You spend a lot of time wandering around other people's homes and shooting robots. Why not build a replica robot? This mod adds many robots that you can add to your settlement to protect against enemies or use as "workers" in various houses.
Update: 1.42.
- Restored command unit "Patrol", as it was in the previous version 1.0 for workers.
- Added a patch for the "Settlement Keywords" mode.
Details.
- The knowledge and advantages of "Expert in Robotics" can be obtained with the help of a nuclear unit and several components:
'Protectron, Mr. Brave, Starmotron and Guardian Robot will protect your settlement!
- Emergency Protectors and Mr. Handy/Miss Nanny protect less, but improve the welfare of the settlements!
- Practical protectors can be delivered in parts!
- Brewers will provide food and water to your communities when you complete the "Drinking" quest!
How to Hire Robots
"Once you build a robot, you can hire it to protect the Commonwealth.
- Robots can move quickly with you!
- The robot will follow your orders, move or replace inventory.
"When you fire the robot, it will return to its home, but it is best to get there *before* you fire it, as it may get lost on the way.
"Robots cannot be dismantled or repaired if they were killed outside the compound.
"At any given time, you can have as many robots as you want.
- You can control the ranged weapons used by the robots.
"You can also upgrade your keys to be able to treat and repair robots in the field. In addition, it is possible to build capsules for the rest of guards.
"Robots don't use up gun ammo, but they need at least one. If you want the watchdog robot to stop firing cluster bombs, remove all the missiles from the inventory!
- Forge adds HP, Weapon - DR. and E, Weapon Madness - physical damage, and Science! - energy damage.
Compatibility:
- Not compatible with other mods that add new categories to the Workshop Protection list (except for example Guard Post, Sentry Gun and Trap).
- Compatible with Homemaker, SSEx and Robot Guard.
- In some cases, mods that add new categories to the workbench are not compatible, even if they do not edit the same category. To resolve this issue, try moving my mods above (or below) in the order of installation. Unfortunately, this cannot be corrected at this time.
- Compatibility with layout keywords (archive patch)
