About This Mod

- A short quest to find the shield. The quest can start in the root cellar of the Asylum.

- Custom model and textures with three color options that can be changed in the armrest.

- 4 different material modes that can be used to improve the shield. Fashions are gradually unlocked with the smith's perch.

- Custom weapon prefixes, which change depending on the mods used.

- Passive bonus to damage and energy resistance when using the shield. As soon as I can make this function work, the shield will also increase these blocking resistance.

- Mod uses minimal number of overrides (mainly for inner locations for quest), so it should be well compatible with other mods. I may add a completely override-free version in the future.

The shield uses the Power Fist as its base, so it is marked as unarmed and benefits from the Iron Fist instead of the Big Leagues, and is also unusable with heavy armor. Also due to Bethesda's logic with the unarmed weapons lock animation, the character does not use the shield to lock in third-person mode, but decides to take a strike without it because it is obviously the best way to defend (will be fixed when the animation can be manipulated). Due to the size of the shield and the animations used, there are likely to be some breaks, especially with more bulky armor, despite the fact that I did my best to position it so that it had minimal breaks and kept realistically. This can be (at least partially) corrected when I can change the animations to better fit the shield. Currently, the quest is unmarked and has no reward for experience, but it will be improved once GECK or other tools are available to better create quests.



To-do list:


- Improve the quest, including making it visible on the quest tab.

- Resistance bonus from the lock.
