Gatling laser not spinning up plus thermonuclear ammo fix
About This Mod
It's just a refinement of Xeno666's NoSpinUp v1.2 fashion (which eliminates the gatling laser and accelerated minigan promotion times), but I've also fixed the cartridge limit for the thermonuclear gatling laser.
Normally, if you have the Repair Bobblehead and/or Nuclear Physicist perk, the thermonuclear kernels used in the Gatling laser are still to be replaced after 500 shots, but are returned to the inventory partially discharged, accumulating in inventory and being unusable as ammunition. With this mode, the ammunition supply of the gutling laser increases with the addition of boblehead and pepper up to 1100 (each level "Nuclear Physicist" adds 125 shots, and "Repair Boblehead" - another 10%), and fully discharged kernels are removed from the inventory.
This mode makes the gutling laser significantly more powerful by eliminating its main drawback (promotion time) and significantly increasing ammunition when using appropriate perks. Since the Gatling laser must be one of the most powerful weapons in the game, and before it was inferior to Spray n' Pray and many other light guns, I don't see this as a problem, but it changes the game balance. The Gatling lasers in FO3 and FNV did not have a promotion time, and the delay in promotion is not found in real Gatling guns, so I consider this mod to be history-friendly as well as more realistic.

If you want a mod that fixes the same thermonuclear kernel without removing the spin, take Doom1991's Gatling Laser Fusion Core Fix.
Note that this mod DOES NOT correct some of the other errors I noticed related to the Gatling laser: for example, the game removes the core from the Gatling laser when the core of your power armor is depleted, or loads a new core each time you switch back to the Gatling laser after switching to another weapon. If these things are still bothering you, there are a few mods on Nexus that solve these problems by simply changing the type of GL ammunition.
