Minigun overhaul
About This Mod
Minigan's redesign, adding a receiver slot that allows minigan ammunition to be used, including 5.56mm, a modest .308, or the monstrous .50 Cal. In addition, minor changes in existing barrels have been added to the structure, as well as the possibility of painting them.
- Barrels now have different bonuses. The number of items needed for manufacture has decreased, and the necessary perches have changed.
- The tri-barrel has more damage, longer range of fire and another sound - the sound of the Sentry Bot minigan. It is now available at rank 2 Gun-Nut.
- Accelerated barrel has higher rate of fire, lower damage, shorter range and lower recoil. It is now available at Rank 1 Gun-Nut.
- By default, a minigan now deals 12 of 8 damage and provides 50% armor piercing.
- Added a reflector sight "True", borrowed from the Gatling laser, which provides a denser spread.
- The machine gun's sight has improved characteristics.
- Range bonuses are now not additive, but multiplicative.
- Added a new receiver slot, which allows you to create different bullets for the minigan.
- The 5 mm cartridge is standard, but has 50% armor penetration, which is standard. It is available at Grade 1 of Gun-Nut so players have to invest in Gun-Nut to at least change receivers.
- 5.56mm has x2 damage, 20% armor penetration, 400 units power and reduced firing range. It is available at Grade 2 of Gun-Nut.
- Damage .308 - x3, armor penetration - 35%, power - 300, range - reduced. It is available in 3rd rank.
- A .50 Cal pistol has x4 damage, an "average" Stagger-Value, 65% armor penetration, 200 units power, and a huge range of fire. Available at 4th rank.
- New caliber pistol receivers are also added, but Ballistic Weave is also required to unlock them. These caliber pistol receivers have the same damage profile as the original four receivers, but are not armor-piercing and have a shorter firing range.
- Damage of .38 Round is 1, shooting range reduced. Available at 1 rank Gun-Nut.
- 10mm cartridge has x2 damage, firing range reduced. It is available at rank 2.
- The .45 Round has x3 damage and has reduced firing range. It is available in 3rd rank.
- Shotgun Shell has x4 damage, 8 rounds, reduced range. Available at rank 1 + 3 of the Satanist idiot rank.
- A .44 Cal pistol has x4 damage, "average" Stagger-Value, reduced range. Available at 4th rank Gun-Nut.
- Added "damage receivers": standard, enhanced (+25%), powerful (+50%) and enhanced (75%), they add damage only to the minigan.
- Added shields that add 50 points of damage resistance while they are equipped.
- Added "Paint" material: old, polished and shaded.
- Old - standard, reduces damage by 15%.
- Polished - ordinary, has no fine.
- Shadowed has +15% weight and +5 to stealth in dark areas.
- Rebalanced damage, including blast damage. By default, 5 mm deals 50% blast damage only if you have a Legendary Attack, that is, from 15 to 7.5 points; however, this can be increased to 200% blast damage (30 points) using .50-Cal. This indicator is also affected by the nozzles on the barrel and the type of engine. Although I understand that flat damage is the main advantage of explosive for weapons with low damage/shot, it's just not the case with the mod, which now adds a lot of damage, and also stimulates only low damage + quick ROF, which devalues the tricuscle and/or 50-Cal. The rebalance of the explosive provides proportional utility and deters excessive damage from the shotgun.
I also slightly improved Glory, bringing its energy level to 100, adding 35 points of damage resistance and 230 points of health. She also appears with the legendary Evening Star minigan (xx000855), a two-charge .308-caliber polished minigan with a Schroeder barrel.
