About This Mod

Version 1.4 Added a very large jammer on request. Slightly rebalanced perch requirements (most of them now belong to Gunmod 2) - Rebalanced car receivers so that they all have the same rate of fire (unintentional small discrepancy as a result of testing)

Added version 1.4 WSE for use with Weaponsmith Extended version of Desert Eagle

See the installation guide below and for a more detailed list of changes 1.4

Version 1.3 Now a drum store, car receivers, visible silencers are added on request

Watch Changelog, as some things are a bit "rough and funny" to work with.

This is a patch for Desert Eagle .50 AE - Standalone Handgun from Stabcops, so of course it is necessary.

I enjoyed running around with hip shooting during many Fallout runs, testing different options. The weapon of choice is often a Deliverer or one of the numerous autonomous weapons - M9, Glock 20, HK USP .45, etc.

But ultimately all autonomous weapons feel the same and overcome the same barrier... there is simply a lack of power at high levels.

My standard solution for making guns was to use a laser. A maximally pumped laser pistol deals the same impact as a laser rifle, but with a greater range of firing. Add a couple of legends to him, and he can handle anything.

But it doesn't feel like a ballistic gun, it blocks out a much bigger view, and I don't enjoy hip shooting that much.

I tried various 44-gage revolvers with an excellent muffler fashion from 24Cell, and it gave me the power I needed, but the action, although semi-realistic, was not what I was looking for.

The pistols proved significantly worse when fired from the thigh compared to the V.A.T.S.

In the hardcore survival config I'm currently testing, I often encounter mobs from 3 rival factions at once, several legendary creatures, and many of them are bullet sponges, although I'm only up to lv65 (this is my 8th run of the game in which I'm lv60+).

Then Stabcops uploads its excellent Desert Eagle.

I immediately saw in it the basis of "Deliver mk2" for higher levels (65+), which I was looking for, but with some reservations.

He needed a silencer for both the Sandman Perch and my ear drums.

I was "sharpened" on the sensation and range of shooting from Deliverer and similar pistols, so it took some modifications.

The flashlight gun is good situational, but in most cases I prefer "peep-boy".

Although I haven't come in handy yet, I'm used to 19+ rounds of ammunition, so a boost would be useful.

I'm a fan of transparent combat sights, and henkspamadres has created a sights for Desert Eagle, but for handguns I prefer the original reflex sights with an increase from version 0.9, rather than the real sights added in later versions. So I had to do the x2.5 and 4.0 weapons sights.

This quick plugin fixes these needs

2 new barrels with silencer (works with Sandman), with or without lamp. The remaining stats correspond to Deliverer... increased range, reduced recoil, slightly adjusted sights, cost, etc.

Version 1.3 includes 3 different visible silencers.

In version 1.4 you now have 4 different visible silencers

2 combat sights (extra reflex) - 2.5x and 4.0

1 2 new magazines - great quick-release for those used to have 19 or more cartridges, and new drum store for 40 cartridges in version 1.3.

4 Receivers

Changelog Version 1.4

On popular demand I added a larger silencer from Combat Shotgun - it can slightly overlap iron/luminous sights, but it is quite suitable for weapons.

All mufflers require Gunnut 2 and titanium barrels require Gunnut 3. I had hoped that by this point I could fix all the barrels so that the visible muffler could work with any barrel, but since this failed, I decided that it was better to make the titanium version available earlier.

Other perks have also been reduced slightly, in part because the WSE plugin "Desert Eagle" is added to the level lists quite early in the game.

During the fire rate test, some differences in the firing rate of different automatic receivers were not eliminated during the speed upgrade. It was a difference of .01-0.02 times, but there was no reason for a difference in performance.

The main change is adding an additional Weaponsmith Extended (WSE) file.

It is not independent... you still need to download and activate the main Desert Eagle Silencer mod, and then manually deactivate esp from your boot order if you no longer have the main Desert Eagle esp in your boot order.

This is consistent with the way you currently have to download the main Desert Eagle plugin and then disable esp if you are not using both at the same time, such as when using Weaponsmith Extended for testing, but running the main Desert Eagle for compatibility with other mods.

Weaponsmith Extended is a necessary solution for people who use many weapon mods. This may not be the only solution or the only implementation of the system proposed by Gambit77, but this is what we have at the moment, so I support it.

If you're using it, I'd highly recommend also using my Weaponsmith Extended Extension extension, which will sort out the mess in your gun workbench at least a little bit.

Changelog Version 1.3

I did not release version 1.2 because I was not satisfied with it. I am not completely satisfied with version 1.3, but it is good for work in progress and functional.

Car receivers

4 car receivers (1 for each color) have the following stats

Not reducing damage

Does not increase rate of fire

No precision changes

The receiver shoots bullets at almost the same speed as when you press the mouse button, with the advantage that you can aim well enough during the shooting and use it for single shots.

There is a reasonable fine for VATS.

It's really fun to have fun with a slow/powerful machine.

Drum Shop

The drum shop is a Extra Large Magazine nif with a combined combat shotgun drum nif. Currently uses the default shotgun textures. Gives you 40 shots, which is about 11 seconds of automatic fire or mouse click, which is quite enough.

It's pretty heavy, like other drum fashions.

Silencers

I'm not happy with the silencers yet, but here's what I did.

I moved the silencer from the original Silent Trunks to the real silencers. Titanium barrels still offer a number of advantages.

To have a visible silencer, you need to use titanium barrels without backlight. To make them work, at least in the short term, I put the copper barrel in the snout. Two default silencers (small/large) need a visible pipe anyway, and if you use a medium silencer, which is very flush, it is not visible at all in front of the weapon.

Make:

Mod for conversion into .44 and .45 calibers

Currently, there is a large gap between the "Deliverer" and the Desert Eagle that could be filled with a .45 caliber version, and .44 ammunition as a version without a significant difference in performance would be a good option for those who do not want to use a mod to create cartridges.

Stabcops created an alternate .44 pistol, but it is not designed to have both in the game.

At this point I would strongly recommend using something like Craftable Ammunition, but only in batches, otherwise you can get a level faster than you would like.

Subsonic cartridges

I was asked to keep it quiet, and the obvious way is to use subsonic cartridges. I just want to do this and transform the caliber in a way that preserves compatibility with other mods of cartridge conversion that people can use, so it will require some experimentation with other mods.

Silencers / WIP barrel

I'm not happy that silencers work with at least a standard "titanium" barrel, but the job of fixing it would be much easier if the barrel with the lantern wasn't so different in the Nif.

Due to the fact that silencers from other pistols are connected in different ways, the visible pipe is a necessary evil.

Of course, if I re-make all silencers, the pipe can be added to the silencer if necessary, not to the trunk.

Installing mods in the game:

All of them are available as standard mods in the weapons workbench.

Installation:

NMM :) or how you install other ESPs.

Compatibility:

If the basic nifs is modified to affect the fastening points (fixing them), my current method may do things a little differently.

Permissions:

Use at your own risk. Don't upload this mod to other web pages until I give you permission to do so.

Known issues that I probably won't fix:

Yeah, it's a muffler built into the barrel, just accept it. This changed in version 1.3, although using a titanium barrel without a lantern will only have a visible silencer.

Titanium, being lighter, can affect how you feel the impact, but I decided that according to the game mechanics lighter materials = higher performance in general, and iron sights need refinement, otherwise it will be another "V.A.T.S. gun."

I never see a store during a game, so I don't see the point of creating a bigger store just for screenshots.

The drum version has a visible drum for version 1.3 and higher.

The sound is not perfect - the Silenced .50 Hunting Rifle works effectively, although the sound for the NPC seems wrong (on the original hunting rifle, too).

The reflex sights are "zoom in" not as realistic as in Combat Scopes fashion, but it's a lot of fun to use.
