About This Mod

I'm sure you'll agree that we all love introducing fashion as soon as possible, and that's my way of giving credit to the wonderful community!

At first, I started working on this fashion to just have fun, but I ended up becoming a little obsessed. I released it for those who like a natural realistic look. In most cases, I run the game on my system at 60+ frames per second, but in some forest areas, the frequency can drop to 46 frames per second, albeit very briefly. This is due to the way Reshade handles Ambient Occlusion, and hopefully in the near future this can be fixed by launching AO directly through ENB if it becomes an updated feature available.

GTX 980 [email protected]

Corsair water cooling

Asus-ROG

Thormax Giant

I’ve added a good selection of screenshots, but due to the limitations of my current monitor, they don’t give me enough idea of the end result, as I have to resize my desktop a little. So if someone wants to add their own in 1080p+ resolution - always please.

SUMMARY OF EFFECTS (1.4.1)

1. Added sharpness and blur blends to increase depth

2. RayMarch Ambient Occlusion, optimized for no shadows in fog and FPS

3. Gamma correction for shadow/color gain only where needed

4. Sharpness depth for background blur, thinly added for continuous play

5. Lumasharpen - another pass and improvement of edges

6. SMAA Anti-Aliasing to reduce uneven edges without sacrificing performance.

7. Improving white/black/ambient light and contrast for a more natural look.

My goal was to create a preset with minimal effects and achieve the best possible result.

I am gradually reducing the number of Reshade effects and using ENB instead.

for even more performance, but i had to cross some of them to

to achieve the desired effect.

At the outset, I would like to say the following. If you're looking for no performance degradation with a slight increase in visual effect, then this preset can be a bit heavy for your system. You can try it with the lower presets included because they are less intense with shadows.

As I said above, there is virtually no performance degradation on my system, and the game works perfectly. Since I don't have any other installations to test, I'm not sure how intense this effect will be on lower systems, so everything may be fine, but given the feedback, I can make a few lower presets in the near future when I have time if needed.

In general, if you're looking for something very realistic and you have a good installation, then I think you'll really enjoy it!

INSTALLATION

1. Download Reshade Framework v1.1.0 from the link provided or visit Reshade.me and download 1.1.0 Framework from the bottom of the main page. Extract the following files/folders into the Fallout folder that contains Fallout4.exe;

Reshade (folder)

Reshade.fx

ReShade64.dll

Then rename the Reshade64.dll you just checked out to dxgi.dll.

NOTE: After full installation, if you do not see a yellow warning in the upper left corner of the game when you start the game, something went wrong.

2. Go to the enbdev website and download ENB 0.291 for Fallout 4. Copy everything from the wrapper folder to the main game folder where you extracted the reshade files.

3. Download my ENB preset package from the Files tab at the top of this page. Once downloaded, follow the information inside the folder, as it describes where you want to copy the contents. Overwrite all files when asked.

Back up the original ini and modify it as described below. Don’t forget to resize your screen in Prefs ini to fit your monitor resolution. To do this, see the examples marked ** in the Fallout4Prefs.ini section below.

4. Install the Neutral Look up tables LUT found on this site.

5. Install the latest Realistic Lights & Shadows Mod mod.

6. Install F4SE from Silverlock.org for better compatibility with future mods.

7. Optional, but recommended! Install the mods listed above in the order shown. All mods are available on Nexus and all were present in my screenshots.

8. Disable HBAO+ in the game if you are using the latest patch that includes it, or if you prefer to use it instead of my Reshade Raymarch preference, here's how to disable Reshade's Raymarch, leaving HBAO+ in the game;

i. Locate and log in to the Resahde folder, then open McFX.cfg with any notebook editor.

ii. Change the #define USE_AMBIENTOCCLUSION link from 1 to 0, then save the file

iii. Start or resume the game, the changes must be applied, and only HBAO+ will be used now.

My monitor settings are all standard except for the color that is set to 60/100.

Please approve if you like this preset so that others can find it easier.

That's it, it's all ready, enjoy!
